Charles Goldhamer : ウィキペディア英語版 | Charles Goldhamer Charles Goldhamer (August 21, 1903 – January 27, 1985) was an American-born Canadian artist.〔 He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and came to Canada with his family the following year, first settling in Owen Sound and later Toronto. Goldhamer produced art for Eaton's advertising pages and drew a regular cartoon for the ''Star Weekly''. He continued his education at the Ontario College of Art, studying with Arthur Lismer. He went on to teach at the Ontario College of Art and at the Central Technical School, later serving as chairman of the art department there.〔 Goldhamer was president of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour from 1941 to 1943.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Past Presidents )〕 A number of his watercolours appeared in the show ''A Century of Canadian Art'' at the Tate in London in 1938.
